Exploratory Workshop: Connecting with Australia’s First Peoples

Quaker’s First Nation’s Peoples Concerns Committee will hold its 3rd workshop on “Connecting with Australia’s First Peoples” on 14-16 March 2014 at Silver Wattle Quaker Center in Bungendore, Australia, outside of Canberra.

Nadine Hoover, of Friends Peace Teams, will join them to explore our experiences of and responses to healing and overcoming multigenerational trauma and oppression.

"Quakers meet with First Nations People at Silver Wattle Quaker Centre (March 2013). Chris Hughes (third from left front) joined Friends Peace Teams in Indonesia (2013) and felt the experiences, especially in Aceh, might be of interest to the First Nations People, and so invited Nadine Hoover to meet with First Nations People at Silver Wattle in March 2014."
